Adult High School Diploma

The Adult High School (AHS) Diploma program provides adults with the opportunity to earn the credits needed to complete a high school education.

New and returning students are required to meet with an Intake Specialist. During this meeting, students will submit their high school transcript and schedule an orientation.

At orientation, students will meet with an AHS Academic Advisor who will review the evaluated transcript and determine the specific classes required to earn an AHS diploma.

The Adult High School Diploma is issued jointly through Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and Central Piedmont Community College.

Program highlights include:

• ✅ No charge for classes
• ✅ Courses offered online and on campus in a lab setting
• ✅ A strict attendance policy is enforced for all AHS courses
