Central Piedmont Foundation / Institutional Advancement

Established in 1965, the Central Piedmont Community College Foundation raises philanthropic support to further the mission of Central Piedmont Community College. The college’s Institutional Advancement team works with private foundations, individuals, and corporate donors to impact students' lives through donations to the Foundation that support student scholarships, academic and support programs, and other areas of need as identified by the college's leadership.

Annual Swirl and Sporting Clays Classic fundraising events generate financial support and visibility for the college and its programs. Institutional Advancement staff also provide opportunities for college alumni to engage with and support their alma mater. Employees of Central Piedmont advance the mission of the college through their work each day as well as through annual gifts to the Employee Giving Campaign

The Foundation accepts gifts of cash or securities, bequests, estate plans, honorariums, and memorial donations made payable to the Central Piedmont Community College Foundation, Inc. Contributions may be unrestricted or designated for specific programs and projects and may be given outright or through a pledge extended over a period of time. All prospective donors and donations for the college should be directed to the Central Piedmont Community College Foundation Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization qualified to receive tax-deductible contributions.

Students, faculty, and staff may be interested in learning more about Central Piedmont's Project Funder, a vehicle for focused, short-term fundraising drives designed to build support for specific projects across the college. Student clubs wishing to raise financial support for their projects should contact Institutional Advancement at the beginning of their planning phase.
